Corporate and Social Responsibility

At Prolinx we are serious about corporate social responsibility. We manage our business in an ethical and responsible manner and are committed to minimising the impact our activities have upon our physical and social environment.

Prolinx currently employs 4 Interns gaining 1 year work experience in partnership with the University of South West England and 9 apprentices in partnership with QA Training.

Interns

  • Project based work for Prolinx including ISO 20000 and ISO 27000 preparation.
  • Database management.
  • Customisation of in house Service reporting tools
  • Development work on a variety of commercial and bespoke applications
  • Support of the Service Desk

Apprentices

Employed principally to support an outsourced Service Desk at Shrivenham, other projects have included;

  • Development of internal sales applications
  • Work placement with industry partners
  • Customer liaison
  • Configuration of Personal Digital Assistants (PDA's)
  • Network configuration and implementation
  • Network monitoring
  • Applying Security and anti-virus patches across the Prolinx estate

There is a 2 year plan to develop skills and ascertain aptitude in different areas of the business.
